Today we’re celebrating the birthday of Alexei Navalny, the Russian opposition leader and anti-corruption activist who has become known for his courage and fearlessness! Navalny came to international prominence by organizing demonstrations against Putin’s government and against corruption in Russia, which has garnered retaliation against him by the Russian government. His love for country and courageous actions are worth celebrating today. Happy birthday, Alexei!
